Hudson Day Trip

  • 1. Bartlett House in Ghent

  • Art Omi

    Head to Art OMI for a stroll thru the 500 acres sculpture garden with easy wondering paths.

  • Town of Hudson

    Make your way to Warren street in Hudson, with tons of antique stores and restaurants you can spend the afternoon wandering around.

  • Olana

    Near Hudson is the home of Fredrich Church and amazing house tour on the hill overlooking the Hudson River.

  • Churchtown Dairy

    Stop at the amazing Churchtown Dairy for some cheese tasting and dont miss wondering around the amazing cow barn.

  • Coopers Daughters

    Stop by and grab an evening drink at Cooper's Daughter Spirits at Olde York Farm. Nice little bar service cocktails and snacks on the river. MAP

The Aviary In Kinderhook

The Aviary’s eclecticism satisfies just about every Hudson Valley restaurant trope. The space is a renovated 1800s textile mill with white marble and mismatched velvet armchairs, and the mostly Southeast Asian menu is filled with local ingredients from farms that are meticulously listed out on their website like a bibliography. Come for dinner and order some pan-seared scallops in a green peppercorn sauce and some tart calamansi pie after finishing off a day of shopping for minimalist wooden toys.

    Nothing is more Berkshires than Norman Rockwell. This great museum also has other galleries and guest shows.

  • Monument Mountain Hike

    A classic hike in the Berkshires! Monument Mountain is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. That might be because of the big payoff at the top for just a 1.2-mile walk up.

  • West Stockbridge
